Commutative Property

The commutative property states that the change in the order of two numbers (or variables) in an addition or multiplication operation does not change the sum or the product. This poster humorously lets the student know that equivalence is maintained when adding or multiplying even if the order of two numbers (variables) is changed. See also Posters 732 and 925.
